Seminar Objectives

This course instructs new users of the HEAD Measurement System on proper operation and setup. Making effective measurements as well as background (theory and history overview) of artificial head technology are also covered.

  • The Head-Related Transfer Function (HRTF) and Normalizing Equalizations for HMS (FF, ID, DF; the HMS as a calibrated measurement microphone system)

  • Making Good Recordings
  • The Importance of Binaural Listening to Binaural Data
