The Thales-Heim DATaRec DiSC6 Digital Acquisition System and the TEAC GX-1 Portable Data Recording and Acquisition System may be used in conjunction with the ArtemiS Multichannel Analysis System. The frontends can be combined with ArtemiS running on a Notebook PC to form powerful portable data acquisition systems. ArtemiS automates the channel set-up, transducer routing, and measurement controls. Data is recorded directly from the frontend onto the Notebooks PC's hard drive and is immediately ready for processing in an ArtemiS project. The DiSC 6 features 2-36 channels (up to 108 channels with extender units) with a total bandwidth of 640kHz and supports a variety of different input modules including the EBU 20 module that supports the HMS III series artificial heads. The TEAC GX-1 features 2-16 channels (up to 64 channels with expansion unit) with a total SCSI throughtput bandwidth of 750 kHz. The GX-1 also supports several types of input modules to accommodate a wide range of common dynamic sensors. |
