New 3-D Viewer Option (ATP18) for ArtemiS

The 3-D viewer, ATP 18, is now available with ArtemiS 4.00. The 3-D viewer is an excellent tool for visualization of any 3-axis graph produced by an ArtemiS analysis. The 3-D viewer allows the user to control the zooming, panning, rotating, and color scale of the original color-map or waterfall plot. If the graph is versus time, the play cursor can be seen during playback allowing the user to pinpoint the temporal location of the event.

The 3-D viewer makes a great addition to any presentation. Comprehension of complex sound events is improved with the interactive mountainous topography. The 3-D Viewer can also help reveal certain sound characteristics that may be hidden in a static color-map plot. Take a peek at the descriptive power of the 3-D viewer compared to a color-map below
